- Thesis--> Color deserves to be another dimension but it is unmeasurable/quantifiable
- Perspective drawing and color
- atmospheric perspective and our depth perception are based on color
- western ideas of space situates the viewer as an integral part of viewing the space
- suggests that while perspective helps situate us in a space yet it doesn't let us see all of the factors that impact the space
- light is outside of the perspective that we can't see and color picks up on this
- color helps us organize
- Contextual--> blending in w/ surrounding structures vs. standing out
