Key points and notes I took based on the reading:

• Thesis--> Color deserves to be another dimension but it is unmeasurable/quantifiable
• Perspective drawing and color
• atmospheric perspective and our depth perception are based on color
• western ideas of space situates the viewer as an integral part of viewing the space
• suggests that while perspective helps situate us in a space yet it doesn't let us see all of the factors that impact the space
• light is outside of the perspective that we can't see and color picks up on this
• color helps us organize
• Contextual--> blending in w/ surrounding structures vs. standing out
